Situated in ijiang city in the northwest of Yunnan, the scenic region of the Yulong snow mountain consists of four scenic spots.Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, or Yulong Snow Mountain the most southerly always-snowcapped mountain in the Northern Hemisphere, is renowned for its breathtaking scenery. It's called "Heavenly Mountain" in the Naxi language and features a chain of 13 snowcapped peaks that resemble a giant flying dragon. Its black-and-white appearance, due to its limestone and basalt composition, has earned it the name 'Black and White Snow Mountain'. Revered by the Naxi people, it represents their protector, the war god Sanduo.
